Falco in Bloodlands has abandoned all hope in finding his dog Gus. He was separated from his dog in the Blood Forest as he barely made it out alive. Should you be so bold, Falco will reward you with a blood ring.
The player level will limit how many Bloodsouls the ring can hold. You can see the level required below to see what the limit is.
Example: If you are level 23, you will be able to reach 100 Bloodsouls maximum (Legendary Ring). Because Legendary requires level 24, The ring will stay at 100 Bloodsouls. You wont be able to add any additional Bloodsouls to the ring until you hit 24.
| Bloodsouls | Quality | Level Required to Attain | Lvl | Stats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 - 19 | Uncommon | 21 | 1 | 1 Stamina Regen OR 6 Magic Damage - 2 Hit Points |
| 20 - 49 | Rare | 22 | 2 | 1 Stamina Regen OR 12 Magic Damage - 4 Hit Points |
| 50 - 99 | Epic | 23 | 3 | 1 Stamina Regen OR 18 Magic Damage - 6 Hit Points
Adds +1 / 1 AC to your blood weapon |
| 100 - 249 | Legendary | 24 | 4 | 2 Stamina Regen OR 24 Magic Damage - 8 Hit points
Adds +2 / 2 AC to your blood weapon |
| 250 - 600 | Artifact | 26 | 5 | 2 Stamina Regen OR 30 Magic Damage - 10 Hit Points - F/I
Adds +3 / 3 AC to your blood weapon |
| 600+ | Mythical | 28 | 6 | 4 Stamina Regen OR 36 Magic Damage - 18 Hit Points - F/I
Adds +4 / 4 AC to your blood weapon |
The secondary effects of the weapons are only useful in Bloodlands itself (this includes the Planes). The ring can be used elsewhere for its other bonuses though such as regen, hitpoints and eventual F/I. Once you equip the ring, you will see combat logs indicating that this ring increases the damage of your swings by a flat amount about 25-30% of the time. This seems to scale with both player level and ring power, and works in Bloodlands as well as parts of Leng for some reason.
Its rumored that when you cast the ring on a Bloodlands weapon you receive a buff where it wont fumble!
As it begins to level up in rank from Bloodsouls (have a merchant appraise the ring to see the level) you should also start to notice an increase in damage on your weapon.
When you kill a boss that gives a soul, your weapons will automatically level to match the level of your bloodring. At legendary, your ring will increase your blood weapon level to 4 and your blood weapon will gain +1 atk and +1 ac adds (+6/+4 blood axe becomes +7/+5). Level 5 weapons are confirmed to also receive the same +1/1AC increase.

If you cap souls on your ring, you will be unable to level up weapons until you reach a level such that the ring is no longer capped on souls.
